If the Jacksonville Jaguars could get a hold of Tommy Lee Jones' "neurolyzer" from the movie "Men in Black," they'd use it to erase the world's memory of what happened on Monday Night Football last week.
Since my memory hasn't been erased, the 47-10 beat down by the Bills is still fresh in my mind.
Yet, despite an 0-3 record, if the Jaguars can defeat the Houston Texans on Sunday, all wouldn't look so bleak for the team.
They'd be just one game back in the AFC South, a division that hasn't looked very good in the early going. Houston is 2-1, Indianapolis is 1-2, and both Jacksonville and Tennessee are 0-3.
It makes things a bit more palatable given the circumstances.
Do any of our experts believe the Jaguars can finally rebound and get a win, or will they be left for dead at 0-4. Let's see what everyone has to say.

We might as well start listing the opposing team first nowadays. The Jaguars are just not in a position to deserve the benefit of the doubt. The issues offensively feel tough to get over against a good Texans defense. Houston could be down two wideouts, so they won't score as much. I'll give Ryan Nielsen's unit some grace even after one of the worst performances in team history.

Just have a feeling that Trevor Lawrence and the offense plays a lot better this week. Getting Darnell Savage back will be a boon to the defense, but losing Foye Oluokun really hurts.

After last week's stink-bomb prediction about the Jaguars winning in Buffalo, my optimism about this team being an AFC South contender has waned considerably. They won't roll over and play dead a second straight week. But trusting them to win in Houston, with an unfavorable injury situation, is a place I'm not prepared to go.

The streak has to end at some point and what better place than Houston, where coach Doug Pederson and quarterback Trevor Lawrence have won their only games against the Texans?

Yes, both teams lost last week. And, yes, the Jaguars have won their last two road trips to Houston. But this feels like advantage Texans, particularly with C.J. Stroud and Nico Collins going to work against a depleted Jacksonville D. Next stop, 0-4?

If I were walking by a roulette table and saw red three times in a row, I'd have to plunk down a saw buck on black. It would have to come up at some point, right? However, gambling being gambling, it'd show up red again and I'd lose my money. I've picked the Jaguars three times in a row and my record shows, like the Jaguars, I'm 0-3. I'd consider taking the Jaguars again, but I think it would leave me seeing red. So I'm going to pick Houston this week. I have to win at some point, right?
