Maryland Data Center Summit draws hundreds, aims to educate different stakeholders

Power demand was one of the most prominent topics discussed and debated at the Maryland Tech Council’s inaugural Maryland Data Center Summit on Thursday at Frederick Community College.

The summit was sold out — hundreds registered to attend — and featured panels on several data center-related topics, like workforce development, why Maryland is desirable for data center development, and the industry’s need for power.
