Keys announce $39M in stadium renovation funding

Confident they are on a path to bring affiliated minor league baseball back to Frederick, the Frederick Keys and city of Frederick announced Friday that they have received a total of $39 million in funding from the Maryland Stadium Authority to make the needed improvements to 34-year-old Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium to attract an affiliate.

Frederick Mayor Michael O’Connor made the announcement just prior to Friday night’s Major League Draft League game at Nymeo Field between the Keys and West Virginia Black Bears.
