A man died Sunday morning after a two-vehicle collision that sent two infants to the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the collision at 11:37 a.m. in the intersection of Goldenrod and Jensen avenues.

CHP spokesman Mike Salas said a man was driving a Toyota Tundra southbound on Goldenrod Avenue approaching the intersection with Jensen Avenue. A Dodge Ram, driven by a woman, was traveling eastbound on Jensen Avenue.

CHP said the Toyota Tundra drove into the intersection without stopping for the posted stop sign controlling Goldenrod Avenue and collided with the front right of the Toyota into the left front of the Dodge, Salas said.

The collision caused both vehicles to overturn south of the intersection into a vineyard.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman and her two infants were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Alcohol or drugs do not seem to be a factor, Salas said.
