Alabama high school football schedule Week 1: Every Gadsden-area AHSAA game

The Alabama high school football season is rolling into Week 1 and almost every Gadsden area AHSAA team is in action.

The headliner is Hokes Bluff and Southside on Thursday, continuing their longstanding Etowah County rivalry. Another Etowah County rivalry occurs on Friday with Glencoe vs. Westbrook Christian. Other big games include Guntersville and Fort Payne, Boaz and Albertville alongside Sand Rock and West End.

Most of the Gadsden area football programs are available to stream on the NFHS Network. It is a subscription service that cost 11.99 but gives to access to all content on the site, across all sports so you can keep up with volleyball as well this fall.
