PREP ROUNDUP: Lady Devils Fall; Lady Huskies, Lady Buffs Win

The Greeneville Lady Devils volleyball team opened its season with a 22-25, 17-25, 13-25 loss to Science Hill on Monday.

Greeneville’s Kyla Jobe had four kills and five digs; Leah Ford had four kills; Brynlee Jones had five assists and six digs; Trudy Aiken had eight assists and eight digs; and Manning Click had 11 digs and three aces.

Greeneville’s JV lost 2-1 and Greenville’s freshman team won 2-0.

BAILEYTON — The North Greene Lady Huskies opened their season with a 25-9, 25-8, 25-16 win on Monday.

Josie Graham led North Greene with 11 kills. had eight digs and an ace. Kaydence Marshall had 39 assists, five aces and four digs, and Mercy Buchanan had 40 digs, six assists and two aces.

KINGSPORT — The West Greene Lady Buffaloes kicked off their season with a 25-14, 25-18, 25-15 win on Monday.

West Greene’s Cassidy Hill hammered 10 kills, while Addy Peters put down eight. Aleea Aiken had 10 assists, Chloe Brown served three aces, Braelynn Willis had four blocks and Morgan Brown had six digs.
