    Dripping Springs Tigers baseball is Bi-District Champion

    DRIPPING SPRINGS  — In game three of the series on May 4, the Dripping Springs Tigers Baseball team hosted the Round Rock Cedar Ridge High School Raiders. The final score was 2-1, with the Tigers securing the win. The Raiders quickly scored in the first inning and the Tigers answered with a run in the bottom of the first. Tiger Pitcher Jaxon Conover pitched a complete game and held the Raiders scoreless for the remainder of the game. Conover had zero walks, zero errors and four strikeouts. The Tigers scored again in the bottom of the third inning. The Tigers’ defense went on to hold the Raiders scoreless for the remainder of the game. The final score was Tigers 2, Raiders 1. The Tigers advance in the UIL 6A Area Playoffs and will play the New Braunfels High School Unicorns in game one at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 and then game two will be at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, May 10 at Dripping Springs High School. The Unicorns’ season record is 28-6-1 and the Tigers’ season record is 24-9.
