FALL RIVER — Friday Night football heads to Week 4 for Greater Fall River area football teams.
The Herald News is proud to bring you another great season of high school football. Atlantis Charter/Westport, Case, Diman, Durfee and Somerset Berkley are ready to take what they learned in the preseason and bring it into the regular season.
The Raiders improved to 2-1 on the year after a beatdown of Stoughton. The Tritons captured their first win of the season on field goal as time expired. The Hilltoppers will look for their first victory while the Cardinals aim to get back in the win column. Diman will be back in action after a bye week.

Somerset Berkley 28, Durfee 14
Senior quarterback Brendan McDonald scored a pair of touchdowns for SBR (3-1) in the victory. Junior running back Finn Crook added a rushing touchdown. Senior Finn Bjork led the charge for the Raiders defense with a sack and pick-six for a touchdown from 53 yards away. Durfee quarterback Matt Sherry threw for a touchdown pass to Alvin Gaston, and Hilltopper (0-4) center Carter Morel recovered a fumble in the end zone for touchdown.

Atlantis Charter 12, Roxbury Prep 6
The Tritons won their second straight game, beating Roxbury Prep on the road. Anthony LeRoux was 9-for-16 passing for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Collyn Viveiros finished with 41 yards rushing on five carries and had two catches for 38 yards for Atlantis Charter (2-2). Devon Paradise caught a 31-yard touchdown pass, and Nathanial Benevides also hauled in a 58-yard touchdown reception. Defensively, Dasan Rooks had six tackles, three tackles for losses and two sacks. Jameer Cabral ended with five tackles and an interception.
Saturday
Diman 34, Blue Hills 8
The Bengals played their most compete game under the Luke Bahry regime on Saturday, beating Mayflower League opponent Blue Hills at Atlantis Charter High School. Senior quarterback Sam Perry threw three touchdown passes to James McKenzie , Logan Uon and Kyran Aguiar . Perry also had two rushing touchdowns. McKenzie also had a great day on defense, collecting an interception and two forced fumbles. Ethan Picard also had an interception and ran the ball well out of the backfield.
Blackstone Valley 42, Joseph Case 6
The Cardinals dropped a road game against non-league opponent Blackstone Valley. Lucas Beaulieu scored Case's lone touchdown of the afternoon from 1 yard out.
