FALL RIVER — A group of talented local teen artists has been hard at work beautifying Fall River by transforming public spaces throughout the city with their creative design projects.

They've most recently left their mark in the Flint , where teens helped re-energize the blighted Pleasant Street neighborhood with brightly painted crosswalks and a mural.

Now the organization is asking for the public's help to continue its mission of painting the city with pride, and empowering their young artists "to be changemakers in our community."

A concert fundraiser is planned next week to benefit YEAH! (Youth Experiencing Artistic Hope).

The Fall River-based nonprofit recruits under-resourced Fall River-area youth ages 14 to 19 and offers them paying jobs in the arts, such as creating murals and other engaging art displays in the community.
