DAYTON — The Mark Anton Airport hosted a highly successful aircraft show this past weekend, drawing thousands of aviation enthusiasts and families from across the region.

The event showcased a wide variety of aircraft, including vintage planes, providing an exciting and educational experience for attendees of all ages.

In addition to the impressive aircraft, the event offered various ground activities, including tours of some planes. Visitors also had the opportunity to interact with pilots and learn about the history and technology behind the displayed aircraft. Food vendors and live entertainment added to the festive atmosphere, creating a memorable experience for all who attended.

“The city is thrilled with the success of the Wings on Display event,” city officials said. “This event could not have been possible without the leadership and vision of Airport Director Bryan Janisch, the work of Jimmy Lane, and the support of the Dayton City Council. A special thanks to all the City employees who worked to prepare the airport space and our first responders for handling parking and security.

“The airport expresses its gratitude to the dedicated team of organizers and volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of the aircraft show. With the enthusiastic response from the community, the city looks forward to hosting future events that celebrate the thrill of aviation.”
