    The Horseshoe Bay Fire Department showcased its commitment to safety and innovation by conducting a live demonstration of the LEVR Escape System – Flash.G Escape Anchor.

    The event took place at the Horseshoe Bay Fire Training Grounds, drawing an audience of local officials, media representatives, and community members eager to witness the latest advancements in fire rescue technology.

    The LEVR Escape System – Flash.G Escape Anchor is a state-of-the-art device designed to enhance firefighters' safety and efficiency of emergency egress. This cuttingedge technology allows firefighters to perform rapid and controlled escapes from elevated positions, significantly reducing the risk of injury and increasing the likelihood of successful rescues.

    Fire Chief Doug Fowler expressed enthusiasm about incorporating the LEVR Escape System into the department’s arsenal of life-saving tools.

    “Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of both our firefighters and the residents of Horseshoe Bay. The LEVR Escape System provides us with a reliable and efficient means to execute emergency escapes, ultimately enhancing our overall emergency response capabilities, “ said Fire Chief Fowler.

    During the demonstration, firefighters performed a series of simulated emergency scenarios, highlighting the LEVR Escape System’s ease of use and effectiveness.

    Attendees observed firsthand how the system allows for quick deployment and secure anchoring, enabling firefighters to evacuate hazardous environments swiftly and safely.

    City Manager Jeff Koska praised the Fire Department’s dedication to adopting innovative solutions. “The safety of our community is our top priority, and the Horseshoe Bay Fire Department consistently demonstrates its commitment to this mission. The introduction of the LEVR Escape System is a testament to their proactive approach in ensuring our firefighters have the best tools available to protect themselves and our citizens.”
