Watch live: Vance campaigns in North Carolina as early voting set to begin

Vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) is holding a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday evening, a day before early voting opens in the Tar Heel State.

Vance is expected to encourage voters in the crucial swing state to take advantage of mail-in and early voting, according to the campaign . The push comes after the southeastern U.S. was rocked late last month by Hurricane Helene, which threatened to disrupt voting in the state.

A survey from NBC News showed that while Americans are more eager to vote before Election Day than four years ago, a partisan divide remains deep. Vice President Harris has a 17-point lead among voters who plan to cast their ballot before Nov. 5.

The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s polling index shows former President Trump with a narrow lead over Harris in North Carolina — 48.9 percent to 47.5 percent.

The event from Wilmington, N.C., is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. EDT.

Elon Musk came to the USA as an illegal immigrant, and if it was okay for him, then why not others. tRump has no plans on fixing the border. he didn't do anything other than put his own logo on a wall that is 100% worthless today.
