HOLLAND — After six years in business, Hopland Brewstillery has been listed for sale.

A post from owners on social media said the business will operate as usual for now, but the goal is to pass the baton.

“Six years ago, we were given an opportunity from the previous brewery to build a business in the community we love,” the post reads . “... We are ready to pass along the same opportunity by selling our location on Butternut Drive, structured the same way it was sold to us.”

The space at 977 Butternut Drive was once home to Big Lake Brewing, which has since moved downtown. It was opened in 2018 by West Ottawa graduate Rick Moralez as a brewery, winery and distillery, all under one roof.

The post encourages those with gift cards to visit soon. An official closing date is yet to be determined.

“We truly appreciate all the love and support you have shown us over the years,” the post read. “We couldn’t have been more blessed.”
