HOLLAND — After an ownership change, the Paisley Pig of Holland will rebrand to Tell-Tales Trattoria. The restaurant will celebrate its final day as the Paisley Pig on Saturday, Aug. 24.

"Join us for a night to remember as we celebrate the final evening before our exciting transformation into a new dining experience," the restaurant wrote on social media earlier this week . "We are very excited to share what's to come with all of you! Stay tuned for more details about the grand opening."

What about the Paisley Pig in Grand Haven?

The new restaurant is separate from Grand Haven's Paisley Pig.

"In light of our decision to rebrand, we would like to assure you the Grand Haven Paisley Pig is under separate ownership and will remain open," the business wrote.

Will my gift cards be honored?

According to an earlier post, all white gift cards purchased at the Paisley Pig of Holland will be honored or exchanged for Tell-Tales until Dec. 31. Other versions of the cards expired Aug. 1.

What else has been in the building at 1642 S. Shore Drive?

The building at 1642 S. Shore Drive was previously home to Black Sheep Baa and Grill, until the Paisley Pig purchased the business in 2019.

Black Sheep opened in 2015 in the former location of Parkway Inn — which had been owned and operated by Curt Fuglseth, owner of James Street Inn, for 20 years.

The restaurant was later purchased by Itty Bitty Bar owner Michael Barber, who breathed new life into the family-style restaurant with a complete remodel of the existing structure.

What's currently on the menu at Paisley Pig?

The gastropub is known for pulled pork nachos, cheese curds, pub fries, meatloaf, pulled pork, burgers, artisan pizzas and sandwiches.

It wasn't immediately clear what will be on the menu at Tell-Tales.
