    Everything you need to know about the Allegan County Fair

    ALLEGAN COUNTY — The Allegan County Fair will soon return with a week-long run of fun, food and entertainment.

    The fair runs Friday-Saturday, Sept. 6-14, at the Allegan County Fairgrounds, 150 Allegan County Fair Drive. Gates open daily at 8 a.m. and at 1 p.m. on the first Friday.

    How much are tickets to the Allegan County Fair?

    Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students in grades 1-12. Children in kindergarten or younger enter free. Parking is $5.

    Those planning to attend multiple days can purchase a nine-day pass that includes parking for $50. Looking for a deal? Plan your visit Monday, Sept. 9, for Carload Day. Admission per carload is $20 and all rides are $3.

    What entertainers are headlining the Allegan County Fair?

    This year brings plenty of impressive entertainment to Allegan County, including:

    • Friday, Sept. 6: Ludacris (7:30 p.m.)
    • Saturday, Sept. 7: Third Eye Blind with Theory of a Deadman and Of Mice and Men (7 p.m.)
    • Sunday, Sept. 8: Off Road Demo Derby (6 p.m.)
    • Monday, Sept. 9: Parade (7 p.m.)
    • Tuesday, Sept. 10: Professional Rodeo (7 p.m.)
    • Wednesday, Sept. 11: Truck and Tractor Pulls (7 p.m.)
    • Thursday, Sept. 12: Jamey Johnson with Whitey Morgan and The 78's (7:30 p.m.)
    • Friday, Sept. 13: Oliver Anthony Music (7:30 p.m.)
    • Saturday, Sept. 14: Demolition Derby (6 p.m.)

    Ticket prices vary for each event.

    What are this year’s special events?

    • Sunday, Sept. 8: Taste of the Allegan County Fair from 1-3 p.m.
    • Monday, Sept. 9: Carload Day and Children's Day
    • Tuesday, Sept. 10: Seniors Day (Tickets for seniors are $5 until 12 p.m.)
    • Wednesday, Sept. 11: Ladies Day (Tickets for women are $5 until 12 p.m.)
    • Thursday, Sept. 12: Veteran’s Day (Free admission, including parking, for all current and former military service members.)

    Can attendees camp?

    Camping is $35 per night, plus admission. Camping for all nine nights of the fair is $250, plus a nine-day admission pass for $50.
