Neon’s Longlegs , from director Osgood Perkins and starring Nicolas Cage and Maika Monroe, has crossed the $100 million global box office mark since launching on July 12.

The serial killer chiller has become the highest grossing film for Tom Quinn’s Oscar-winning specialty production and distribution outfit, home of Parasite , for 2024. Longlegs, which has to date earned a North American gross of $72 million, was financed and produced by C2’s Dave Caplan alongside Cage, Dan Kagan, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Chris Ferguson.

Black Bear represented the international rights to the horror pic, which accounts for $31 million of the worldwide gross. Longlegs was distributed directly in the U.K. and Ireland, which is the top grossing international territory for the film, currently with $10 million in ticket receipts.

After Neon promoted Perkins’ fourth feature as a buzzy event film, Longlegs has yet to open in a number of major territories, including Latin America and Italy. Black Bear’s sister company, Elevation Pictures, has earned so far over $7 million of the North American gross with the release in Canada.

Perkins is set to reunite with Neon, C2 and Black Bear for his next film, the Stephen King adaptation The Monkey , starring Theo James and set to be released in February 2025. Kavanaugh-Jones from Range and Ferguson of Oddfellows are producing alongside James Wan and Dave Caplan for C2.

In addition, Neon will also release Perkins’ Keeper , starring Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland, and will reteam with Monroe on They Follow, the sequel to David Robert Mitchell’s It Follows.
