Born in New York, 35-year-old Jessi (born Jessica Ho) was raised in New Jersey and moved to South Korea at 15. “I thought being a K-pop idol was going to be all great and beautiful. That’s not the reality,” she says in the docuseries.

Created by Starship Entertainment, Cravity’s members are Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung and Seongmin. They released their debut studio album, The Awakening: Written in the Stars , in 2021, after dropping their Hideout mini album trilogy.

Explains Cravity member and rapper Allen, “We’d have dance class, vocal lessons, music shows and no sleep.”

Blackswan has gone through a number of lineup changes since it debuted in 2011 as Rania. The group’s active members Fatou, Gabi, Sriya and Nvee are featured in the new Apple TV+ series.

“Watching the docuseries is going to be very fun actually because I get to see the growth I’ve personally been through,” 29-year-old rapper Fatou recently told The Hollywood Reporter . “I get to see when I was at my weakest and how strong I’ve grown right now.”
