    Cody Christian to Star in Sci-Fi Thriller ‘SYNC’ (Exclusive)

    Cody Christian, Jonetta Kaiser and Michael Paré have nabbed lead roles in the sci-fi thriller SYNC being unveiled as part of Toronto Film Festival’s informal market.

    Christian will play a grieving man in 2035 who turns to groundbreaking technology to reunite with an artificial intelligence-generated version of his deceased fiancée, played by Kaiser. But as he delves deeper into their virtual encounters, Christian’s character notices something is off kilter with her programming.

    Besides playing Mike Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars , Christian recently had a regular series role on the CW show All American , where he played Asher Adams for six seasons. He is also the voice of the iconic mercenary Cloud Strife in the Final Fantasy role playing video games for Square Enix, and was nominated for a BAFTA Award for performer in a leading role.

    RJ Zabasky will make his feature directorial debut with SYNC , which he also wrote and is set to shoot in Los Angeles this Fall. The ensemble cast includes Jake Ebright, Abigaille Ozrey, Emily Ozrey, Jill Lover and Frederick Trankels.

    Zabasky is also producing SYNC under his Doolin Entertainment’s banner, alongside Kami Norton, Evan Sorlien and Vincent Young. Jaime Gallagher and Jacob Samuel are co-producing.

    Christian is represented by Julie Fulop of AKA Talent Agency, Williams Unlimited, The Brand Partners and Hayes Robbins of GGSSC. Kaiser is repped by Gwenn Pepper of Defining Artists Agency and LINK Entertainment. Paré is repped by Sovereign Talent Group and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
