Tyler, the Creator is set to make his feature film acting debut in Marty Supreme , the Timothée Chalamet A24 movie from Josh Safdie.

Safdie will direct the feature from an original screenplay he co-wrote with Ronald Bronstein. Plot details remain under wraps, but while it was previously rumored to be loosely inspired by a pro ping-pong player, the movie is said to be a fictionalized original film.

Gwyneth Paltrow is set for the feature, her first onscreen feature role since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame .

Marty Supreme will be produced by Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, Bronstein, Safdie, Chalamet and A24. The project reunites Safdie with A24 after the company produced his two most recent films, Good Time (2017) and Uncut Gems (2019), both of which he co-directed with his brother Benny Safdie .

Tyler, the Creator is best known for his music career as one of the members of the Odd Future music collective. His most recent album Call Me If You Get Lost was released in June 2021 and earned him his second Grammy for best rap album.

Marty Supreme is Safdie’s first solo feature as a director since 2008’s The Pleasure of Being Robbed . His brother Benny Safdie has wrapped principal photography on Dwayne Johnson’s A24 feature The Smashing Machine .
