Peacock’s upcoming series Hysteria! shows a town in the grips of a Satanic Panic — emphasis on the “satanic” part.

The streamer has released a full trailer for the show, which premieres Oct. 18 and centers on three high schoolers (Emjay Anthony, Chiara Aurelia and Kezii Curtis) whose heavy-metal band decides to lean into the fear caused when the high school quarterback goes missing and a pentagram is painted on the teen’s garage. Their makeover as satanists, however, unleashes forces — both among their peers and, possibly, with something otherworldly — that soon spin out of their control.

The trailer — which greatly expands on an earlier teaser — also shows a teenage girl (Nikki Hahn) being abducted by a creepy masked intruder and a woman (Julie Bowen) being stalked by an unseen entity. Watch it below.

The show’s regular cast also includes Anna Camp, horror icon Bruce Campbell, Garret Dillahunt, Nolan North, Elijah Richardson, Milly Shapiro, Allison Scagliotti and Jessica Treska.

Universal Studio Group’s UCP produces the series, which was created by Matthew Scott Kane. He executive produces with David A. Goodman, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, Good Fear Content’s Chris Bender and Jake Weiner and Jordan Voght-Roberts, who directed the first and last episodes of the season. Scott Stoops of Good Fear is supervising producer.
