The fate of Project Runway has been decided: Freeform is bringing the long-running Bravo reality TV series centered around fashion design back for season 21.

The TV network closed a deal with Spyglass Media Group for a new 10-episode run in 2025, with Disney+ and Hulu also to stream the series shortly after the premiere on Freeform.

Project Runway is an iconic television juggernaut that perfectly complements the pop-culture spirit at Freeform,” Simran Sethi, president, scripted programming, Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, said in a statement on Thursday. The new season of Project Runway will be produced by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz from Alfred Street Industries.

Freeform will air the reality TV series weekly. Casting for a new host and judges is underway and will be announced at a future date.

“For 20 seasons, Project Runway has captured viewers’ attention and cultivated a loyal following. The series has proven to be a valuable and enduring brand worldwide, and we could not be more excited to broaden the show’s breadth of viewership within the Freeform, Hulu and Disney+ ecosystem,” Gary Barber, chairman and CEO of Spyglass, added in his own statement.

Project Runway debuted on Bravo in 2004 and has aired in over 125 countries. The series launched the careers of designers like Christian Siriano, Austin Scarlett, Leanne Marshall, Irina Shabayeva, Michael Costello and Bishme Cromartie.

Project Runway is produced by Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries, with Barber, Cutforth, Lipsitz, Dan Volpe and Nan Strait serving as executive producers.
