The Soda Shop is one of the oldest shops in the area which was founded in 1951 and has chronicled the history of Davidson City and its residents. Davidson College alumni sometimes stop by to reminisce about their college days or childhood years spent mostly in the shop area.

2. The Pickled Peach

Located at 202 South Main Street, Davidson, The Pickled Peach is a humble restaurant that specializes in handcrafted sandwiches, soups, and salads. The ingredients are sourced directly from local farmers with a community-based mindset and a desire to provide the best for customers.

3. Lake Norman Cottage

This hidden gem is located at 200 N Harbor Place Dr., Davidson. The Cottage aims to provide the newest and best wines in a cozy atmosphere to enhance the guests' experiences.

4. The Cabin

The Cabin is a must-visit local pub located near the North Harbor Club. With outdoor seating and beautiful lake views, The Cabin provides a great evening of lakeside dinner accompanied by live music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

5. Fisher Farm Park

Fisher Farm Park is a place to walk and enjoy nature that offers more than four miles of mountain bike trails and a 200-acre nature area teeming with wildlife. The park is located at 21215 Shearer Road, Davidson, and is open from dawn to dusk.
