Jermaine Jenas boasts about ‘securing the coin’ while sipping beer in bizarre resurfaced video

Jermaine Jenas spoke about “securing coin” in a video posted to his Instagram story in 2023.

Footage of the former England footballer appearing to parody TikTok user @snowydangernew, in which he sips a pint of beer and repeatedly says “go on then”, resurfaced on social media after the BBC sacked the presenter following allegations of inappropriate workplace behaviour.

Speaking on talkSPORT on Thursday , 22 August, The One Show host, 41, said: “I can’t really talk about it, but as you can probably see, I’m not very happy about it.

“There is two sides to every story, as we know, so that’s all I can say right now.”
