This all-day cafe Atwater Village from the Dune folks next door is ripped straight from the Euro travel brochure of our dreams: couples chat at white marble tables snacking on Lyonnaise tartines while a solo martini drinker picks at brown butter pierogis on the leafy front patio, the latest Bret Easton Ellis novel in hand. But as transporting as Sinizki’s checkerboard floors, copper tile ceiling, and Fernet spritzes are, its well-done bistro staples like steak frites, herby salads with feta, and a juicy mayo–and-ketchup bar burger that give this neighborhood spot staying power. You’ll want some of those pierogies, but so does everyone else—get here soon after dinner service starts at 5pm, or there's a risk they'll sell out.
