    Patio Pizza

    $$$$Perfect For:Takeaway

It’s important you don’t get Patio Pizza mixed up with its brighter, brasher neighbour (Pizza Box). A small corridor inside connects both takeaway pizza spots, but the kitchens are unrelated. One serves typical takeaway shop pizza, and the other is bringing great NYC-style slices to Kingston.

Patio Pizza's pies have the flat, crispy base of an NYC pizza, with the chewy, puffy crusts of a Neapolitan. It’s a fun place that gets excited with the toppings—you can ‘go full monty pal’ on any pizza by adding burrata, parmesan, chilli honey, and fresh basil. But the hot honey is lacking in spice and ends up making the whole thing a little sweet, so we think it’s best suited to the meatier pizzas. We’re big fans of keeping things more simple—we like the funghi, which comes topped with an entire forest’s supply of mushrooms, as well as the classic margherita. They sell out early on in the evening for walk-in orders, so call or pre-order online before turning up.
