Jurassic Magic

Its name may sound like a souvenir store at Universal Studios, but Jurassic Magic is a chilled-out coffee shop in Mid-City. There are shaded tables out front, but if you’re seeking true peace and quiet, head to the hidden back area instead. This indoor/outdoor space doubles as a shop selling everything from wand-woven beach bags to Renaissance vinyl records, but you’ll also find outlets, little tables to sit at, and a soothing wall of tropical plants. It’s the perfect place to get some work done while sipping an iced tea with lemon juice and honey.
