80-20 Wines is a Georgian wine bar and shop in Peckham that’s best used to stock up on a bottle of something semi-dry and low sulphite, and grab a takeaway pastry. The friendly owner will help guide you to the right bottle from rows and rows of sleek shelves. Get one to go or stop for a glass on the adorable veranda out front—complete with plants, comfy seats, and blankets—or inside. The food is basic—charcuterie boards with cheese and meats, khinkali that might fall apart on you—but the khachapuri is worth getting if you are sticking around. Just know that while stylish and moody, the restaurant towards the back stays pretty quiet most nights.

    Charcuterie Platter

The focaccia is the best thing on this platter—it's served in thick, square hunks and there are juicy olives scattered throughout. The meats are nice, but this hasn’t really been elevated from the kind of charcuterie board you could knock together after an M&S splurge.

    Lamb Khinkali

We’re big fans of the fragrant, meaty broth, but unfortunately the dumpling itself was too thin and leaked juices before we’d taken a bite. The lamb could also do with a little more cooking so it was less gristly.

    Megruli Khachapuri

We’d recommend you ignore the rest of the food menu and just get one of these cheesy bread boats with a few glasses of excellent wine. The cheese is perfectly melted so that it mixes with the yolk to create a rich, creamy pool for dunking chewy crusts in. It’s the right size for two to share, but if you’re rolling with a group of three or four, double up because it’s tempting to hoard this.
