Tragedy struck a family in Clifton as two young brothers, aged 3 and 6, lost their lives in a devastating house fire. William Brice, 6, and his younger brother Zachariah Brice, 3, were pulled from their burning home on Whetstone Manor Court on April 10. Despite valiant efforts to rescue them, they were unresponsive and rushed to Children's National Hospital in critical condition.

The heart-wrenching news was shared by the boys' parents, Jamey and Reina Brice, through social media updates. Their community rallied around them, offering prayers and support during this unimaginably difficult time. However, the Brice family's worst fears were realized when both boys showed symptoms of brain death, a diagnosis that was tragically confirmed through tests over the weekend.

In a poignant Facebook post, Jamey Brice expressed the family's devastation and gratitude for the outpouring of support. "We are devastated by these horrific events and heartbroken that we lost our amazing sons," he wrote. "Our prayers along with all of yours have been answered, just in a different way. It wasn’t what we picked, and we are learning to surrender and trust God more and more."

The loss of William and Zachariah has sent shockwaves through the community, reminding everyone of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with loved ones. As Clifton mourns the passing of these two young souls, the Brice family remains in the thoughts and prayers of many, finding solace in the memories of their beloved sons.
