Beaufort’s newest chick on the block: Chicken Salad Chick opening this month

Chicken Salad Chick has already made friends and fans in Bluffton, and soon it will make its debut north of the Broad River. On October 15, the unique, fast casual chicken salad spot will open its 14th location in South Carolina at the Beaufort Station shopping center off Robert Smalls Parkway.

Known for a dozen different chicken salad flavors, like Jalapeno Holly and Fancy Nancy, each named after a “real-life Chick” that has touched the founder’s life, Chicken Salad Chick now has more than 250 franchises across the country.

The Beaufort franchise owners, Julie Beville and Michelle Singleton, own numerous Chicken Salad Chick locations across the Carolinas, including in Summerville and Charleston, SC.

Singleton grew up in Alabama, where the restaurant was founded in 2008 by Stacy and Kevin Brown, and soon found out there was opportunity to become a franchise owner. She joined with her friend Beville to establish Sing Bev Hospitality with the hopes of spreading Chicken Salad Chick across the Carolinas. The pair opened their first Chicken Salad Chick in Greenville, SC in 2013.

Beaufort was a natural next spot to open up a new franchise for the duo, since they travel there most summers and have fallen in love with the area, Beville said. The Beaufort location will have in-restaurant and outdoor patio dining, drive-thru, take-out, curbside pickup, third-party delivery and catering options.

In honor of the grand opening, patrons can take advantage of various specials and giveaways:

• Tuesday, October 15 – The first guest in line will receive one large Quick Chick (a container of chicken salad that serves 4) per week for an entire year. The next 99 guests in line receive one large Quick Chick of chicken salad per month for a year.
• Wednesday, October 16 – The first 100 guests to purchase a Chick Meal will receive a free tote bag.
• Thursday, October 17 – The first 100 guests to purchase a Chick Meal will receive a free Chick Meal or small Quick Chick (a container of chicken salad that serves 2) the next time they visit.
  
  
• Friday, October 18 – Buy two Large Quick Chicks, get one free all day. The first 50 guests to purchase three Quick Chicks will receive a free tote bag.
• Saturday, October 19 – The first 100 guests to purchase a Chick Meal will receive a free Chicken Salad Chick stadium cup. The cup can be used through October 31 for a free drink when you purchase a Chick Meal.

The team at the Beaufort location is most looking forward to welcoming community members into a place where “they can bring friends and family and know they’ll get a smile and wonderful, fresh food,” Beville said.

After the opening, store hours will be:
