Smithfield to host Popsicles at the Pad

SMITHFIELD — Popsicles at the Pad is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, at the Eva Ennis Park splash pad, 501 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

The event is in celebration of July as National Parks and Recreation Month.

Other celebrations on this month’s calendar are:

• Inclusive play for people with disabilities and their families, 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 19, at the Smithfield Recreation & Aquatics Center, 600 M. Durwood Stephenson Parkway.

• Movie in the Park, 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 16, at the Neuse River Amphitheater, 150 S. Front St.
