    Early voting opens Oct. 17 in Johnston

    SMITHFIELD — The Johnston County Board of Elections will offer early voting Oct. 17-Nov. 2.

    Hours will be 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

    Johnston will offer early voting at the following sites.

    • Archer Lodge Community Center — 14009 Buffalo Road, Archer Lodge.

    • American Legion Building — 605 N. Wall St., Benson.

    • First Baptist Church Ministry Center — 125 S. Fourth St., Smithfield.

    • Oakland Presbyterian Church — 8927 Cleveland Road, Clayton.

    • Princeton Community Building — 106 N. Center St., Princeton.

    • Providence Presbyterian Church — 14664 N.C. 210, Angier.

    • Selma Civic Center — 300 N. Webb St., Selma.

    •The Church at Clayton Crossings — 11407 U.S. 70 Business West, Clayton.

    • Watkins Chapel Baptist Church — 5897 N.C. 231, Middlesex.
