Community Dance and Game Night
What: Game night will be combined with a community dance. Music will cater to all ages, allowing you to dance to your heart's content or just sit back and watch the little ones. The dance is casual attire, but children are welcome to dress up as their favorite superhero. Attendees may move back and forth between both areas or choose to attend one or the other. All children must be supervised by a responsible person.

Huge
What: Huge will be playing in the bar at the Freeport Eagles Club. Come early to get a bite to eat. Open to the Public

Music on the Patio
What: Silver Alert will perform. Enjoy entertainment, food and adult beverages. For all ages.

Lincoln Douglas 5K
What: The Lincoln-Douglas 5K, One-Mile Fun Run and Kids Races, in partnership with the Family YMCA of Northwest Illinois, combines a fast, competitive 5K race with a one-mile Fun Run and a series of Kids Races that ultimately crowns the "Fastest Kid in Town." The race starts and ends near the statue of Abraham Lincoln, the Debater. The course consists of three loops around the historic paved road inside Taylor Park, a 5K (3.1 miles), wheel-measured, certified course that is flat and fast designed to help you achieve a personal best. The one-mile fun run involves one loop of the 5k course. The back-up location is The Family YMCA on HCC Campus.

PAWS to Read
What: Visit the library and read a story to a pup from Therapy Dogs International.

Freeport Cruise Night
What: Hot rods, rat rods, street rods, muscle cars, antiques, coupes, convertibles, sedans, trucks, motorcycles and station wagons will all be part of this year’s Cruise Night in Downtown Freeport. Enthusiastic car collectors from across the Midwest will gather to showcase unique vehicles and admire others' prized possessions. Expect to do some walking and make sure you bring a camera. Cars will be on display in several lots and on city streets throughout the downtown area. Souvenir shirts will be on sale at the information booth. The event begins with the opening of the food court. Davis & Company will perform. There will also be a family fun area. The cruising starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m.

Walk with a Doc
What: This family- and pet-friendly walk and chat will be led by FHN Foundation Director Al Evon. He'll talk about how the Foundation helps improve healthcare in communities and share information about upcoming events. Meet by the concession stand for this safe, fun way to get some steps, learn about health and meet new friends. No registration is required, but sign in at each walk to be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate to Brown's Shoe Fit Co.

Winslow Antique Days
What: Winslow celebrates Antique Days with a variety of activities with special food items each day, along with vendors, live music and kids activities. Fever River String Band will play from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday. No Worries will play from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Sunday outside the Winslow Museum; this is also where the food stand is. Bring the little ones to enjoy the tractor (train) ride, kiddy tractor pull and other fun events. The homemade ice cream is always a big hit.

Summer Open House
What: Summer Open house of the Fever River Railroad model train club hosts its summer open house. Fever River is a HO scale model train club that has been operating since the mid-60s.

Baldylocks Rocks Customer Service Day
What: BaldyLocks, the duo of Louis and Naomi, will perform many of your favorite classic rock tunes. The entertainment will be performing outdoors (weather pending) at the platform near the tiki bar, where drinks will be served as well. Food will also be provided. The crew at BDB would like to thank you all for your wonderful business.
