Three quarterbacks have defeated a Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs team three times in his career.

One of them, Joe Burrow, comes to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. (The others: retired Patriots and Buccaneers QB Tom Brady and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.)

Burrow collected his victories over a 17-game span in 2021 and 2022. Two of them came at Arrowhead, one in the 2021 AFC Championship Game.

The Chiefs got payback in the next AFC title game, and this is the first Mahomes-Burrow meeting since then. The Chiefs defeated the Bengals in Week 17 last season, but Burrow was out with a wrist injury that day.

The Chiefs survived in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens; the Bengals were upset by the New England Patriots.

But that’s been a trend for the Bengals. They’re 1-4 in their last five openers. Their second games have been even worse. They’ve lost their previous five Week 2 games.

Where and when is the Chiefs vs. Bengals game?

The game on Sunday, Sept. 15, is set for GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. It’s scheduled to kick off at 3:25 p.m..

What’s the channel (and radio info) for the Chiefs game?

The game will be broadcast on CBS, Channel 5 (KCTV) in Kansas City. In Wichita, the game will be broadcast on KWCH (Channel 12).

Also, it will be broadcast on radio via KFNZ (96.5 FM) and WDAF (106.5 FM) in the KC area, and KNSS (98.7 FM) in the Wichita area.

What’s the betting line for Chiefs-Bengals?

The Chiefs have opened as a six-point favorite on Draft Kings , and the over/under is 47.

Last week against the Baltimore Ravens, the Chiefs covered as a three-point favorite with a 27-20 victory.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid will provide KC’s first official injury report of the week on Wednesday.
