McDonald’s double cheeseburgers are 50 cents for one day only. Here’s what to know

A McDonald’s cheeseburger will only cost you two quarters on National Cheeseburger Day.

On Wednesday, Sept. 18, customers can get a 50-cent double cheeseburger when they order in the McDonald’s app, according to the fast-food giant.

The offer is good for one day only, and no additional purchase is required.

McDonald’s double cheeseburger is made with two beef patties topped with pickles, chopped onions, ketchup and mustard, according to the restaurant’s website. An extra slice of American cheese is what separates the burger from the ever-popular McDouble.

The 50-cent deal is part of McDonald’s fall savings lineup. This month, the chain said it would extend its $5 meal deal through December, alongside other offers aimed at saving customers money.

Burger lovers can find the 50-cent cheeseburger offer exclusively in the McDonald’s app.
