San Francisco 49ers safety Malik Mustapha had two viral moments on Sunday.

First came the big hit Mustapha took on quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ run during the Chiefs’ 28-18 victory at Levi’s Stadium.

Mahomes’ bulldozer act gave the Chiefs a nine-point lead and put the game out of reach. It was the play of the game and video of it went viral soon after the touchdown.

“I wasn’t even trying to run him over,” Mahomes said in a postgame interview with Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews. “I was just trying to get in the end zone. I’m a little heavy , so I got some weight to me, so I ended up getting in there.”

Mustapha went on social media after the game and poked fun at himself . This post on X went viral, too.
