L3 Brand Community Alliance Spreads Holiday Cheer At Christmas With Friends Event

Spring Lake, North Carolina — December 23, 2023 — On December 18th, Spring Lake was alive with the spirit of giving as the L3 Brand Community Alliance hosted its 2nd Annual heartwarming Christmas With Friends event, providing a memorable evening of joy, generosity, and community connection. Hosted at the gracious venue provided by KitaDee's Soulfood Lounge, families gathered for a festive dinner and a heartwarming giveaway of toys, clothes, and essential kits.

With the support of community partners and generous sponsors, including Dr. Naveed Aziz, Margie Holmes-Wilder, Damita Reed, Cardell Hunt, KitaDee's Soul Lounge, Elizabeth Stiff, Realtor, Auntie Vern's Stiff Family Kitchen, Venassia Gunter, Carl Pringle, Hip-HopVibe.com, and other benevolent contributors, the event was made possible, amplifying the spirit of unity and support within Cumberland County.

Elizabeth Stiff, Executive Director of L3 Brand Community Alliance, expressed her delight, stating, "The event was a great success! Families came out to enjoy a hot Christmas dinner buffet with desserts. The children lined up to pick out their toys as parents browsed through the brand new clothing and free feminine hygiene kits packaged and distributed by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Zeta Pi Omega Chapter members."

The event was marked by the heartwarming sight of smiling families and children returning for seconds, underscoring the warmth and inclusivity of the occasion. Volunteers played a big role, ensuring the seamless flow of activities and spreading cheer throughout the evening.
