Man sent to hospital with cuts after aggravated assault

LAGRANGE, Georgia – On October 5, 2024, at about 9:30 AM officers from the LaGrange Police Department responded to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in reference to a person who had been cut.

Detective Hackett from the Criminal Investigations Section arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. It was determined that Lassandra Calloway and a male were involved in a physical altercation during which Lassandra brandished a knife and inflicted multiple cuts on the victim. He received treatment and was later released from the hospital. Lassandra has been charged with aggravated assault and family violence.
