LIMA — A classic experience is set to bring the music of Pink Floyd to the Greater Lima Region Park and Amphitheater.

Pink Droyd will be the second laser concert to hit Pangle Pavilion with a show set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23.

The tribute band features vocalist and guitarist Kevin Quandt, keyboardist Daniel Fisher, percussionist Randy Brown, bassists Trevor Krall and Trevor Perkins, lead guitarist Phil Shurger and saxophonist Ashton Morris, as well as vocalists Evan Sturzenberger, Lisa McDavid and Jill Jugloff performing Floyd hits from the band’s albums “The Wall”, “Dark Side of the Moon” and “Wish You Were Here” accompanied by special effects.

“Pink Droyd is more than a tribute, they are a live concert experience that brings the sights, sounds and captivating of a true Pink Floyd experience,” the band’s website read. “Pink Droyd is a live experience that changes to fit the needs of the show, theme and event.”

The concert in Lima will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the double album “The Division Bell”, covering it and the rest of the Floyd catalog including hits like “Shine on (You Crazy Diamond)”, “Comfortably Numb” and “Welcome to the Machine”.

“Pink Droyd continues to bring their show to a wide range of venues across the Midwest and beyond,” reads the site’s calendar page.

The band has over 70 years of combined experience.

“For over five decades the amazing music and live concerts of Pink Floyd have entertained and mesmerized audiences around the world,” the band’s bio reads. “Today Pink Droyd… brings the look, feel and sound of those shows to audience, both young and old, around the country. Their show is both accurate to the Pink Floyd music and visually stunning with their robotic, intelligent light show, digital video accompaniment (including the Pink Floyd traditional circular video screen), and amazing laser show.”
