The Drunken Wimbledon Rumor You Likely Forgot About Kate Middleton
Catherine, Princess of Wales, is known for being impeccably poised at all times so it's shocking to learn that she was once accused of being so wasted at Wimbledon that it supposedly threw one of the players off his game. A YouGov poll from April 2024 confirmed that Prince William's beloved wife is the most popular female royal among Britons by a wide margin, with a whopping 76% of respondents holding a positive opinion of her (poor Meghan Markle received just 26% in comparison). Kate Middleton's timeless style is one of the biggest reasons she has so many fans worldwide, adding to her chic, effortlessly polished reputation but her staunch dedication to being a good wife and mother clearly registers with people of all different cultural backgrounds too.
Unique Challenges Prince William Faces As A Future King
Prince William's destiny was etched in stone the day he was born. As the first son of the heir to the throne of Britain, William has known since childhood that he would one day assume the position of monarch, a role held by his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, for an unprecedented 70 years. When King Charles III ascended to the throne in September 2022 upon the queen's death at age 96, William bumped up next in line. Given his father's advanced age at the time — 73, the oldest British monarch to ever be crowned — William won't have to wait nearly as long for his turn.
Cosmetic Dermatologist Tells Us Kimberly Guilfoyle's Fillers Aren't Hiding Her Age Since 2020 RNC
The internet had a field day with Kimberly Guilfoyle's shouted 2020 Republican National Convention speech, and her 2024 RNC speech had some loud moments as well — but at least this time there was an actual live audience as seen in a video of the speech shared to X, formerly known as Twitter. One thing people often do when Guilfoyle is in the news is speculate that she has had plastic or cosmetic surgery of some kind.
Rare Moments Of PDA Witnessed Between Prince Edward And Sophie
It's not often that royal PDA moments are caught on camera. Though there are a few exceptions to the rule, like the surprisingly frequent moments of PDA between Zara and Mike Tindall and the times Meghan Markle and Prince Harry showed public displays of affection, most royal couples keep their hands to themselves while out and about. Myka Meier, a royal etiquette expert, shed light on this behavior while speaking to People back in 2018, revealing there actually are no formal rules on the subject. Meier explained, "The royals often adjust PDA to mirror the formality of the event they are attending. At a somber or more formal event, we are less likely to see PDA than at a casual event where it would be deemed more fitting."
