Veterans honored with breakfast and dedication

The Jefferson County Veterans Service Office will be hosting a Memorial Day celebration on May 25.

The even will begin at 9 a.m. with biscuits and gravy, followed by a bench dedication for the United States Public Health Service, and a ceremonial laying of engraved bricks at the Veteran’s Healing Memorial.

The event is free and open to the public, and will be held at the Jefferson County Community Center at 860 SW Madison St.
