Madras High School football camp wraps up

Youth in grades third through eighth took part in the Madras White Buffalo Football Camp this past week, Aug. 12-15.

Under new MHS head coach Neil Elshire, the MHS assistant coaches, and crew of current White Buffalos, the youth were instructed on various football skills, with a focus on high energy and having fun.

Following the four-day camp, the young athletes headed home with a camp t-shirt.

The White Buffalos begin their season Aug. 30 when they host a jamboree at the MHS stadium beginning at 5 p.m. The regular season starts Sept. 6 at Sweet Home.
