UPDATE: On September 4, 2024, the Farmington Maine Police Department said that they have spoken to Hunter and he is no longer considered missing.

The Farmington, Maine, Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 17-year-old from Farmington.

On the morning of Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Hunter Mathieu is 17 and 6 feet tall and was reported missing by his parents. Hunter was last seen wearing white Under Armour pants, a blue University of Maine t-shirt, and a brown plaid flannel shirt.

The vehicle Hunter was driving is a blue 2013 Subaru Forester with the Maine license plate 714 JXA. The vehicle was last seen driving toward Livermore Falls on Route 4 at approximately 8:00 a.m.
