Riley County Police officers on Thursday arrested a teenager for stabbing two adults with scissors at Manhattan High School.

Officers reported 14-year-old Noah Dean Weber battered two men aged 73 and 41 with a pair of scissors on school property around 1:30 p.m. Both victims received treatment for their injuries on-site and did not require transportation to the hospital and are expected to return to work at the school.

USD 383 Manhattan-Ogden officials sent a letter to parents regarding the incident, saying Weber moved aggressively toward the two male staff members but did not attempt to attack any students.

Weber was charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a weapon but was not held at the Riley County jail.

An RCPD spokesperson said that because of the suspect’s age, the department would not release more information.
