Marion will again join many other communities across the country in marking Memorial Day with a parade.

It steps off at 10 a.m. Monday at Fahey Banking Co., 127 N. Main St., and will continue south on Main to Delaware Avenue and conclude at the Veteran's Memorial Park, 1001 Delaware Ave., where a ceremony will be held.

Main Street between West Center and Hill streets, as well as Delaware Avenue between Hill Street and Executive Drive, will be closed 9-11 a.m. Monday. Motorists are asked to avoid the area during this time.

All divisions of Marion Public Health will be closed Monday, including the WIC office, environmental health, public health nursing, vital statistics and administrative divisions.
