    MIAA releases 2024 tennis state tournament brackets. Westborough boys No. 1 seed in D2

    The first MIAA state tournament brackets have arrived. Tennis was first on the docket Saturday.

    The top 32 teams in the power rankings automatically qualify in each of the four boys and girls divisions plus all teams above .50 outside that top 32. They will travel for a play-in game.

    Play is set to begin Tuesday.

    The Wayland boys program captured its ninth state championship last season . The Westborough boys reached the Division 2 final , falling to Duxbury. Dover-Sherborn also lost to Wayland in the Division 3 boys championship, the Lincoln-Sudbury girls advanced to the Division 1 championship and Westborough fell to Masconomet in the Division 2 girls final.
