Vote for the 2024 Daily News Fans Preseason Football Player of the Year

Another exciting football season is on the horizon in MetroWest and the Milford area. With 25 teams in action, there's no shortage of talented players in the area. We assembled our list of 32 players to watch earlier this week.

That list helped generate our candidates for the 2024 Daily News Fans Preseason Football Player of the Year.

The options include seven returning Daily News all-stars , a handful of Division 1 prospects, dynamic quarterbacks , running backs you can build an entire offense around , go-to receivers, cornerstone linemen on both sides of the ball, lockdown corners and punishing linebackers.

They represent 18 programs. Some are known quantities, while others will step into larger roles vacated by graduating seniors. Nine programs have multiple representatives led by three each from Blackstone Valley Tech, Natick and Wayland.
