Buckle up. After some early appetizers, the high school sports season is in full swing after a full slate of action Tuesday.
These Fantastic Five (or so) high school athletes filled up the nets and found the shortest route to the hole and led their teams to victory.

Nick Batista, Framingham boys soccer
He scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Newton North to start the year strong for the Flyers (1-0).
Josh Kim, Hopkinton boys soccer
The sophomore found the net twice, as the Hillers beat Norwood 3-1 to open the season with a victory.
Milla Lee, Dover-Sherborn girls soccer
She scored two goals in the first 10 minutes of the Raiders' 3-0 season-opening win over Millis. Lee also struck the corner that bounced around before it landed in front of Hayden Sumner, who settled the ball and fired it home for the third goal.
Like dry sponges: This freshman trio starting is already for D-S girls soccer. 'They're going to get tons better.'
Charlie Leighton, Blackstone Valley Tech boys golf
He shot an even par 36 at Highfields, leading the Beavers to a 156-192 victory over Assabet Valley. BVT improved to 2-0 overall and in the Colonial Athletic League.
Lyla Pessotti, Hopedale field hockey
She scored a goal and added an assist for the Raiders, who took out Notre Dame Academy (Worcester) 2-1 in their opener. Eighth grader Ella Stokes tucked away her first varsity goal for Hopedale (1-0).
Maddie Recupero, Hopkinton girls soccer
She fired home three goals with an assist in a 7-0 victory over Norwood. Freshman Riley Colleran scored the first two goals of her career for the Hillers (1-0).
Evie Schneider, Dover-Sherborn field hockey
She registered a hat trick in a 5-3 win over Oakmont to open the season for the Raiders (1-0),
