Make it two in a row for Franklin. After running back Andrew Fraulo claimed the prize in Week 1 , Panthers receiver Alex Weber was voted the Daily News Week 2 High School Football Player of the Week.
Weber returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown in Franklin's 35-7 win over Brockton. He also registered two tackles for loss and made nine tackles total. Weber received 42.94 percent of the nearly 34,000 votes cast. His teammate Will Tirrell placed second at 25.4 percent.
Now we turn our attention to Week 3's standout performances . Can anyone stop Franklin's reign?
Jake Attaway, Hudson
The Hawks senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns, including a 59-yard scamper to open Hudson's 28-0 win over Worcester South. He also threw two touchdown passes to Savion Newton-Clark.
Brody Barrett, Millis
He made three sacks among his 10 tackles in a 19-7 win over Blackstone-Millville/Hopedale.
Justin Bianchetto, Franklin
He completed 19-of-34 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown in a 21-19 win over Duxbury . He led the Panthers down the field for the winning score in the final seconds.
Josh Buentello Hopkinton
He ran for a touchdown and returned an interception for a score in a 42-14 win over Newton South.
Jack Carter, Millis
The quarterback ran 14 times for 140 yards and a touchdown in a 19-7 win over Blackstone-Millville/Hopedale. He also threw a 55-yard touchdown.
Michael Caulfield, Wayland
He ran for 61 yards and two touchdowns in the Warriors 49-0 victory over Acton Boxborough. Caulfield also hit 5-of-7 extra points on a night Wayland only punted once.
Dom DoCanto, Lincoln-Sudbury
He caught seven passes for 97 yards and a touchdown in the Warriors' 17-14 win over Brockton.
Max Dresens, Wayland
He carried the ball nine times for 221 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 49-0 win over Acton-Boxborough. One covered 87 yards, and another went 73 yards. Dresens also made three tackles as a linebacker.

Dylan Gallo, Maynard/AMSA
He threw four touchdown passes for the third game in a row, as the Tigers took down Auburn 35-21.

Sam Hubbard, Natick
He ran for 128 yards on just 18 carries and scored three touchdowns in the Redhawks' 28-7 win over Milford . Hubbard also played linebacker for the entire game and helped Natick force five straight punts and a turnover on downs.
Sean Landry, Lincoln-Sudbury
He completed 10-of-15 passes for 127 yards and a 27-yard touchdown to Amari Thames in a 17-14 win over Brockton.
Matthew Leibman, Wellesley
He caught seven passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns, as the Raiders beat Walpole 35-28.
Kyle Letsky, Maynard/AMSA
He caught two touchdown passes, including one with two minutes left that sealed a 35-21 victory over Auburn. Letsky also returned a fumble 95 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.
Jake Martin, Westborough
He had two sacks in a 24-8 win over Tyngsborough. The Rangers defense also grabbed three interceptions.

Max Maurao, Holliston
He ran for a touchdown and returned an interception 25 yards for a score in a 55-28 loss against Milton.
Kevin Ozulumba, Ashland
He accounted for 326 yards of total offense and scored three touchdowns in the Clockers' 26-19 victory over Apponequet. He ran for 234 yards, scoring on runs of 86 and 50 yards. Ozulumba also caught a 62-yard score and grabbed an interception on defense, where he led the Clockers with 14 tackles.
Nick Pedroli & Julian Rivard, Hopkinton
Pedroli caught four touchdown passes from Rivard in a 42-14 win over Newton South to help Hopkinton earn its first victory of the season. Rivard was 5-for-5 through the air for 141 yards and ran three times for 48 yards.
Jake Pisciotta, Westborough
He threw two touchdown passes, as the Rangers beat Tyngsborough 24-8.
Lukas Prock, Wellesley
The sophomore hit 15-of-22 passes for 279 yard and three touchdowns in a 35-28 victory over Walpole.
Stephon Reed, Franklin
He caught six passes for 101 yards, none bigger than a 40-yard catch and run with the clock winding down where he broke a tackle at the catch point and ran to the 4 to set up the game-winning score in a 21-19 victory over Duxbury.
Connor Teague, Holliston
He ran for a touchdown and caught a touchdown for the Panthers in a 55-28 loss against Milton. Both covered more than 30 yards. Teague also hit four extra points.
Will Tirrell, Franklin
He scored the game-winning touchdown for the Panthers with two seconds left in a 21-19 victory over Duxbury that snapped the Dragons' 14-game winning streak.
