Ava Jerome (Maura West) needs to watch her back because someone is out to get her.
There have been speculation of Maura leaving General Hospital . It all started when The Chat podcast host Casey, a known soap opera insider, told fans that one of their favorite female characters will leave this year. She posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, "Expect a very very popular and beloved actress to possibly be out this year. I’d be shocked if the original path doesn’t go to plan. #GH."
Ava had been stepping on people's toes throughout the show that may want to see her gone. Here is a list of character's on General Hospital that want to see Ava gone.

Sonny Corinthos
Despite Sonny having Ava's back, he does not have the best reputation on the show. Ava was there for Sonny when others turned their back on him but that doesn't mean he forgot about their past. Ava snuffed Sonny's old lover Connie and played a role in Morgan's death. After Carly suspected Sonny being off his meds, Ava started to mess with them. Sonny could find out and want to seek revenge.
Carly Spencer
Carly was Sonny's lover and they share a child together. Despite there being tension between the two, Carly will always care for Sonny and when she found out he could have possibly been off his meds, she was furious. Carly was never a big fan of Ava and if she found out what Ava has been doing to Sonny's mental health, she would do anything to keep Ava away.
Kristina Davis
Kristina is Sonny's daughter and was never a fan of Ava. Especially not after she leaked Natalia's homophobic recording which destroyed her girlfriend Blaze’s career and bring her hopes down when it came to running the LGBTQ+ center.
Natalia Rogers-Ramirez
Natalia could want to seek revenge after Ava exposed Natalia's hateful views. Ava leaked a recording of Natalia being homophobic.
Alexis Davis
Alexis is an attorney and has to defend people as a full time job. When it comes to Ava, Alexis has some business to take care of. Ava got her revenge on Julian by taking away Julian's ex-wife's legal license. Despite Alexis moving on from the situation, sometimes people forgive but never forget.
Julian Jerome
Julian is Ava's brother and was married to Alexis. Julian could still have it after his sister for not only hurting his past lover but after showing little to no sympathy when he was on the run. He was running for his life after the bombing at the Floating Rib in 2020.
Nina Reeves
Nina and Ava use to be best friends, which means she knows more about Ava than anyone else. Nina was married to Sonny and thought she could still count on her best friend to be there for her despite everyone turning their backs. Nina found out that Ava betrayed her trust with Sonny after she was doing everything to give him another chance. Ava told Nina to sell the hotel to Jason since him and Sonny were best friends, little did Nina know, Ava was playing games knowing Sonny wouldn't have seen it as a romantic gesture.
Olivia Quartermaine
Sonny found Olivia's cousin Connie shot in her office. Before she died, Connie wrote the letters "AJ" in blood in reference to Ava. Olivia was never a fan of Ava and does not like the fact that she got away with murder. Olivia grew up around the Mob, she knows a few tricks on trying to get rid of someone without find out. Olivia could want to seek revenge after what Ava did to her cousin.
Trina Robinson
Trina works with Ava in the art gallery and was upset when Ava tried to get information out of her to use against Sonny. She could want to seek revenge if things with Sonny get worse and she sees that everything she told Ava, she used.
