    Simone Biles opens up on plans for family life with LA 2028 Olympics hint

    American gymnastics hero Simone Biles has opened up on the conversations she has had with husband Jonathan Owens about family life as she refused to rule out appearing at the next Olympics .

    The 27-year-old consolidated her legacy as one of the country's greatest modern-day sporting figures with another four medals at the Games in Paris. Completing a mesmerizing redemption arc after her struggles in Tokyo three years ago, she secured three golds in the all-around, vault and team events alongside a silver in the floor exercise.

    With the star having competed in three separate games across a glittering career, Biles has now spoken about her potential plans for the future. Touching on her personal life with NFL ace partner Owens , she acknowledged that the pair have talked about starting a family at some point.

    Speaking to Hoda Kotb on NBC’s "Today", the triumphant Team USA stalwart said: "Yes, me and Jonathan always talk about kids. He would have had them like yesterday if he could have. Obviously, we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family."

    Asked whether she could see herself as a mom in the future, she replied: "Yes, most definitely," before addressing whether she will take part in Los Angeles in four years' time, adding: "You know, you never say never. The next Olympics is on home turf, so you just never know. I’m just gonna relax and see where life takes me."

    It remains to be seen whether Biles will now set her sights on a fourth Olympics appearance on home turf in four years' time, with the next spectacle taking place in Los Angeles. Either way, it appears that her husband is determined to support her in whatever route she decides to pursue.

    Speaking to People , he said: "If she feels like it is time to focus on life… because when you are locked in, you do have to sacrifice a lot and you do miss a lot. That’s the one thing that she would just have to figure out for herself. And like I said, man, I’m here to support her a thousand percent and whatever she decides to do."

    As for the chance to watch his wife make sporting history in the French capital this summer, the Chicago Bears player admitted it was an " unbelievable, once-in-a-lifetime experience. He divulged: "It's just amazing to see her go out there time and time again and just how consistent she can be and she just continues to do it, man."

    Beaming with pride about his partner's achievements, Owens added: "I'm just so proud sitting there in the stands like, man, this is my wife — the best ever. And that's really all I could think about... just how proud and how happy I was for her just because of how much she puts into it."
